Problems with image borders on the main page

I have a problem with the image border in the centre featured products box on the main page.
I added this
#whatsNew img, #specialsDefault img, #featuredProducts img {
border:1px solid black;
}
it works on my test site but on my main site it does not show on the main page. If you click the empty shopping cart you can see it works off the main page.
Because it works on my test site it must be something I have done.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Problem Solved, took a while to back track. I managed to delete <div class="centerBoxWrapper" id="featuredProducts"> from tpl_modules_featured_products.php when i put in the snazzy divs. I must have looked at that file 5 times before i found it.
It produced no errors at all apart from the border
