Is there any way I could use a Ï character in the title?

Something is preventing me from using a double dotted Ï in the title of my shop. I think it becomes something like Í , or similiar, garbage character.

I suppose this is some kind of encoding error between utf8 and iso8859 or something, I've had similiar problems before.

Is there a way around this? It's really annoying. My bands name is CRASHDÏET, and not CRASHDIET, as it seems now :S

As always, truly helpful for any guidence. You've been great to me so far :)

thanks

best regards

peter

In the source you should be able to enter: (with out the spaces)
& # 2 0 7 ;
That the should show Ï
A link to html characters http://www.addedbytes.com/cheat-sheets/html-character-entities-cheat-sheet/

Also this is a good place to find all kinds of cheat sheets http://www.addedbytes.com/cheat-sheets/

And in you head area you have something like this?
<meta content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv="Content-Type"/>

Wow, thanks. Works beautifully.

I had google for stuff like "Ï + php" but I guess Ï + html would have made more sense. Thanks for all yor site recommendations, I will use them :)

Have a nice day

Note: in the Configuration ... E-mail Options ... you will want to add for the Convert currencies for Text emails:

& # 207 ;,Ï

without the spaces ...
