Easy Populate 1.2.5.5.csv "No model field" error

Hi. It's my first time posting. If this has been answered already, I'd appreciate a link to the pertinent thread. My ZenCart version is 1.3.8a, patch1.
I get "No model field in record. This line was not imported" error when doing the following:

1. On [tools]> [Easy Populate] page, click "download Complete .csv file to edit"
2. Open the csv file, and delete rows so only the top row and 3 products are left in the csv file.
3. Modify a single cell, under "v_products_description_1" in one of the products with plain alphabet letters.
4. FTP the file into "tempEP" folder, enter the filename in "Import from Temp Dir (tempEP/)" box, and click [insert into db] button.
5. Upload Results displays the correct filename, plus over 1700 lines of "No model field in record. This line was not imported" error in red font.

Could you tell me why I get the error?

Do your products have model numbers entered?
The free EP available requires that "ALL" products have a model # as it indexes on that field

Yes, I should have mentioned that all 3 products have data in the first column "v_products_model'.
I just tested again with same result. All I did to the downloaded csv was to delete extra products so that I only had 3 products and the top row with field names, and change ONE cell under "v_products_description_1" of one of the product.

I printed out and read the wiki on Easy Populate yesterday. Can't say I didn't miss anything, but it mostly made sense. I am puzzled.

I just tried opening the downloaded csv with OpenOffice Calc, as ISO-8859-1, US Ascii, and UTF-8. I get a slightly different error now than Japanese encoding my Excel defaults to when opening a csv (grrrr). I copied the resulting error message below-- still no dice.

I am not seeing the EOL* that should be at the end of every line

I think that for the CSV version, the EOREOR format was "discontinued" Look for posts by "phazei" who was originally behind the csv project...

(or uninstall 1.2.5.5 csv, and use 1.2.5.4)

I appreciate your reviews and comments. I'll try different ways for now, but I appreciate the efforts made thus far towards the csv project as well. It's not easy to get things right right away. Thanks.

The title of this thread is not correct. The version I was having problem was "1.2.5.6.csv.2". (I copied the version off my screen while on Easy Populate, but obviously it was off. Sorry. )
