Changing shipping address "You must select a Country from the pulldown" error message

Hi

I have a problem with Step 1 of 3 - Shipping Information page. When I try to change chipping address I got this message:

You must select a country from the Countries pull down menu.

No matter how many times I change the country I get the same message again. I have tried to find a solution on the forum, but non of them apply to my problem.

I am experiencing the same issue. I just updated to ZC 1.3.8 all the way from 1.2.6, and now whenever a new customer tries to create an account, he is being told to select a country, even though he selects USA every time to no avail. I have confirmed this happened to me as well when I tried to create a 'dummy' account.

It would be nice if someone who knows what they're doing could reply to this and help out some noobs :)

Also switch temporarily to the Classic template to make sure it isn't a template issue.

Usually it's a matter of knowing what search terms to use. Once you've been around here a while, stuff gets stuck in your head, and it's a little easier to find things.
