Slow Web Site

The site I've set up is suddenly running very slowly. How do I figure out what the problem is? It seemed okay yesterday, I did add a few mods (Advise to Friend, Simple Google Analytics, Fast and Easy Checkout.)

Would the Analytics mod be the problem?

Everything looks ok.... The Flash is pretty big, inside pages load much quicker... But in the end you might just search for some posts in here regarding your webhost for the answer.

Okay, thanks. It was working okay yesterday until I added the new Mods, even with the large Flash on the home page. Would that affect the Admin speed as well?

No it is very likely your hosting.... Search for your webhost here in the forum by name and you can find some info.

It's your host!

Looks like a performance problem at the server level ... namely that the server is too busy to keep up with basic operations. A classic GoDaddy overselling practice.

From one post on this forum - there are many others all echoing the same.
