Display Product List from Subcategory

I have a test category/subcategory setup as:

Category1
SubCat1
SubCat2
Category2
SubCat3
SubCat4

When clicking on Category1, I want the main page to show a list of what's in SubCat1 and SubCat2.

How do I do that?

There must be a simple way to do this.

Thank you.

Re: Display Product List from Subcategory

There is an old thread about this with various contributions that make it work as you describe.

Not very simple and you will need to install/edit quite a few things, so just follow the discussion...
