Is there any reason Internet Explorer 8 would hang with my sites?

I'm having an odd issue with one of my carts. It works fine on my main computer, running IE 6 (the last stable version ever written), yet it hangs on IE 8 and eventually crashes the computer. This happens on more than one system running IE 8.

didn't go too far into it, but IE8 is opening it fine on my PC.. navigated to a few categories, login page, etc.. not hanging or crashing

Thanks for checking. I guess I have more digging to do. It keeps crashing a computer on my network. It is a Dell, so that could be the main problem, but it's also crashing the site owner's computer. That makes is hard for her to track sales...

My IE 8 hung a bit... while loading 13.ytmg.com.... FireFox and Chrome were fine.
