Product links from the Cart view page dont work

Hi there,

this seems similar to this issue: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114746&highlight=crazy+string

but I dont think went far enough. Whever this is a product link that has the special characters after it in the shopping cart display page, if I click on that link it does NOT work it takes me to the MAIN cart page, not the product.

now not all products seem to have that code added to them but most do, and I need to know how to fix this behaviour.

I understand from the above thread that the code is need for updating the cart properly, but still I think the link should work by taking userse back to the product even with that string there no?

Thanks for your reply, yes that appears to fix the issue but not exactly a solution is it? How can SEO URL rewrites be accomplished that do not cause the links to break in the cart display?

I am afraid you would have to search the forums for that as I do not use SEO or rewrites ...

There are other add ons that might work better or perhaps someone else could jump in and help you with these ... :smile:

thanks. Ok turns out there was an updated html_output.php in the functions folder that seemed to clear things up once I uploaded it.
