GOB Package Trackers module - Support Thread

This module adds the ability for you and your customers to track packages from different carriers.

You can add, change, delete or turn off package trackers from the Admin.
You may have unlimited different carriers.
Customers track their orders from their “My Account” page.
A separate sidebox shows the customers past orders (optional).
Module does not overwrite any files, just needs to manualy modify a few files in ZC source code.

Predefined carriers are “La Poste, Chronopost, FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL”.

Overall, it is an improvement of "ty_tracker_package", but need a complete overhaul of the code:

"ty_package_tracker" is limited to 5 trackers. If I remember correctly, a user needed to have more than 5. Now, there is no limit, the benefits are obvious.

The trackers are stored in their own table TABLE_TRACKERS and not in TABLE_CONFIGURATION where it was not their place. This permits to better manage them, do not touch at TABLE_CONFIGURATION and easy installation without conflicts for users.

You can now enter multiple parcels per carrier, before had to save 1 line for each package.

The Sidebox is also present (option).

"ty_package_tracker" uses a modified copy of a php page for Super Orders v1.3. Since, Frank Koehl has changed in Super Orders version 2.0rev47.
This module provides compatibility with Super Orders v2.0 because it proposes only to insert pieces of code in Super Orders v2.0 preserving its functionality. It therefore leaves the possibility of using future versions of Super Orders.

Does this mod support bulk import? say we have 50 orders and each has its own tracking number, can we import them rather than doing one by one.

No, the module itself does not import a list of packages. I'd have to define an import format for this (CSV) and on the other side it is possible to export in the same format. I had planned to interface it with French Post, but Im currently programming otherthing. I keep this idea in reserve.

I may be an idiot, but I have installed this MOD and re-traced all my steps and still don't see the Package tracker in my Admin>Localization... any ideas?

admin/includes/extra_configures/package_trackers_defines.php

is there also a way to include more options in the url that you get from the d-base ?

for example add the postalcode of the customers' address as a variable ?

I don't understand what you want to do. Put an example with an URL.

I am getting this error in the log:

for those who encounter 1146 select count(*) as total from table_trackers error

i add in admin\includes\extra_configures\package_trackers_defines.php

i have a question, i want to add some codes to tpl_account_history_info_default.php such as

but it doesn't work, then what codes do i add to tpl_account_history_info_default.php and account_history_info/header_php.php to make this done?

i know why it doesn't work,
i tried adding $order->delivery['country']['iso_code_2'] to tpl_account_history_default,
on account history page, it should been displayed those two letters CA, but now it displays only the first letter C, very weird.

i dont know what do i fix it, any ideas? :dontgetit

I've followed the instruction and triple checked my work. I'm not able to access "Previous Orders" on "My Account Information". When I click on view I get a blank white page.

Other then localizations, is there anything else I need to check in the Admin area? I don't see anything else regarding tracking.

I have not previously edited the required files till I found this MOD. Can someone just give me their modified files in case I have done something wrong?

EDIT: I've created a dummy account so you can see what I'm talking about. Just go to previous orders under account info and click view to see.
