[Not a bug] PayPal IPN - Website Payments Standard 1.3.8a

Hello,

I have PayPal Express Checkout set to process payments... I had PayPay IPN - Website Payments Standard on until I saw the duplication... (in debug mode) I had set

E**nable PayPal Module **False

But was still receiving Debug mode emails..... I turned debug mode to off so hopefully I will not receive any more emails....

So bug is module set to false but still sending debug information.... I guess it is connected tightly to paypal express checkout?

Always better to remove payment options, rather than disabling them.

If you have debug mode turned on in any module, you're going to receive debug details from all such modules where you have it enabled.
Yes, IPN is tied into ALL PayPal modules, because ALL paypal transactions generate IPN notices to your store.
It's working as it was designed. There's no bug to "fix".

Steve is right: any module you don't intend to use should be "removed", not merely having its status set to false.
