Remove gift certificates from bestsellers list?

To do this you would need to customize the SQL statements Best Sellers sidebox using your templates and overrides ...

The original files are in:
/includes/modules/sideboxes/best_sellers.php
/includes/templates/templates_default/sideboxes/tpl_best_sellers.php

and copy them to your templates and overrides directory:
/includes/modules/sideboxes/your_template_dir/best_sellers.php
/includes/templates/your_template_dir/sideboxes/tpl_best_sellers.php

then change your file:
/includes/modules/sideboxes/your_template_dir/best_sellers.php

to include the extra code on the SELECT statements in the WHERE clause for:
p.master_categories_id != XX

where the XX would be the categories_id for the Master Category that the Gift Certificates belong to ...
