Question about pricing configuration

I have a screening and embroidery business. Is it possible when the customer selects their product, screen or embroider, locations and number of colors to calculate the total cost based on a excel spreadsheet that I have created? I would need to obviously import the spreadsheet or call to it (where would the excel spreadsheet go?)
Example: You purchase a black t-shirt, with a 1 color, 1 location imprint, the price should be $4.99 (yes that is an actual price!) The minimum quantity is 36 to get that price.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Re: Question about pricing configuration

There's no provision in Zencart to call pricing info from another application. It seems you could do what you want to do with pricing by attribute.

Re: Question about pricing configuration

Being new to ZC, could you go a little more in-depth about your suggestion?

Re: Question about pricing configuration

https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=57 for an overview. It seems complex at first, but once you've worked with it, it'll be easier.

In the product set up page, there is an option to make a product 'Priced by Attributes'. In that case, the product wouldn't have a base price, and each attribute would add a certain amount to create the final price. You can also set a base price for the tshirt, and each attribute (color, imprint, etc.) would add a certain amount to the base price.

On the same set up page, you can set minimum order quantities.

One thing you can't do is 'dependent attributes', where one attribute depends on the setting of another. You can't have one size tshirt only available in certain colors, for example, if size and color are attributes.

Re: Question about pricing configuration

Thank you for that help! Bummer on the dependant attributes, that would have been a great thing to have and really helped. I have that exact situation!

Re: Question about pricing configuration

Is there a way to allow them to buy just one item if it is blank, but only allow them to buy 36 if they need to be screened or embroidered?
