No offense, but the design looks very 1990's, with the obvious table borders in many places, and the smaller images could use some alignment fine-tuning.
You don't have to scrap the whole design, but making the details more modern and clean (or even rustic) will help.
You can easily make your Zen Cart resemble the homepage design. Start by turning off the right column (Configuration > Layout Settings > Column Right status); you probably only want a few sideboxes on the left, Categories (rename the heading Products) and ez-pages. You can install the Blank Sidebox mod and put the Home link in it. The shopping cart sidebox can be set to only show when there is something in the cart.
Turn off borders for sideboxes in your stylesheet and assign the button border as the background for sidebox headings and links. The button border gif needs to be cleaned up, as the white corners are distracting on the gradient background. Erase the white and make the corners transparent. How you style the categories is up to you.
The header could be handled in a couple of ways. You might make the #headerWrapper background the gradient, #logoWrapper 100% width with the "box" background image at the left and the oven logo image positioned in the left-center. The tagline can be edited to contain all of the header text, by using a
and for the smaller text.
