Help with <div class="categoryListBoxContents" style="width: 16%;">

It's driving me nuts! What determines that width %? And why does it change from page to page?

If you navigate down through VW or Audi, then you'll see how the image spacing jumps from 16%, 20%, 25% to 33%. I want to lock this in so it's always 16%

I've checked my css, and can't find anything that could be causing this. And through the Admin CP I've changed the Categories to List Per Row and have only been able to make it worse with numbers less than 6.

BTW, sorry for cross-posting this. It seems to be potentially applicable to two different categories.

Yes its slow moving unlike your racing car website.
If you would slow down and think. you might come to a solution.

You have 6 subscategories, and a width of 100%. 100 / 6 \approx 16.666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666667

Thus it is rounded to 16. If you have only 4 subcategories, the width for each would be 25%.

And because your padding needs space as well, it is not displayed in a sinlge line. Try to set the padding to 0 as shown below:

That's initially what I thought too, that it was dividing the space by the amount of subcategories. But....

Here on the index, there is 5. And it's at 16%

Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I know this is old hat to someone out there. But, I would appreciate the help.

Under tools, click developers tool kit, then put "width: 16%" in the last box (look-up in all files) click all files catalog then search. This will show you all instances of it in your files.

Did that once before. Also searched the .css files for 16%, 20%, 25%

Nothing related.
