Shipping Estimator not showing when logged in

I am having a problem and it appears that it is with the shipping estimator.... When logged in and viewing the shopping cart the shipping estimator table will not show... but will show when I am not logged in... also the bottom part of the site and the right column are not showing at the shopping cart page.

I have copied from a fresh 1.3.8a dir the /includes/modules/shipping_estimator.php over and the
/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_shipping_estimator.php over and it is still not working correctly.... the reason I think it is the shipping estimator is that when I change the shipping estimator to be a button... I see it whether I am logged in or not... and the template bottom and right column will then show... is there another file that I need to refresh?

So, something you've done has another file on the server that also declares the order class. Probably a backup copy you made by renaming "order.php" to "order_old.php" or copying order.php into one of the various automatic-loading folders or something. Those are common mistakes people make when upgrading ... if you're going to rename files, be sure to NOT keep ".php" on the end of the filename. And instead of renaming, it's often best to make a reliable backup and depend on that instead of depending on renaming things.
Other common mistakes are drag-and-drop into wrong folders when installing addons or navigating around your PC and/or FTP program.

Search your site for "class order" and delete the files that are NOT located at /includes/classes/order.php or /admin/includes/classes/order.php.

one exists in /includes/classes/order.php and one in /admin/includes/classes/order.php.

Seems like one of the mods had an order.php file so I will look into that...

I've looked through the mods and don't see anything having to do with orders :no:

I had made some cosmetic changes to the shipping estimator but have overwrote those files....

I just don't understand why this is only happening with the shipping estimator on the shopping cart page and only if you are logged in.

FYI... In a previous zen life I had issues with my multiple new shipping options that I created not working correctly because of some setting not allowing so many options .... was that fix put in 1.3.8a?... when I tried to turn on a order_total module for collecting insurance pieces of my site acted very strange and I had to turn off because of that... don't know if it might be related... right now only the shipping options are turned on about 9-12 new ones. And I have 3 "insurance" type order_total modules that are not turned on currently.

In the case of the shopping_cart/header_php.php file, line 30 should be commented-out as part of the 2 lines above it and several lines following it, although I would have expected it to be line 31, not 30.

For modules/shipping_estimator.php, I would have expected line 84, not line 83. Regardless, that line belongs.

The other mentions of the file should have no bearing on operation of that particular page, unless you've got an addon or customization that's doing something unique.
