My Personal Address Book entries repeat customer name. Why?

Is there any particular reason why the customer name is repeated twice in the entries at My Personal Address Book:

John Doe

John Doe
1 Any Street
AnyTown, XX 0000

John Doe

John Doe
10 Other Street
OtherTown, XX 0000

Is there a logic to that?

You should see the Primary Address and beneath it you will see all addresses, including the Primary Address, for editing purposes ...

Yes, sure. But every address entry repeats the customer name twice just as I posted above.

So for example, if you have 5 entries, your name will be repeated 10 times, not including the extra time at the top, since the primary address is shown twice, which is another question in itself.

My question is why the name is repeated twice for EACH address entry, including the primary address entry.

Can you see that in your own test account?

Did I find a bug?

Yes, the name is repeated, it is the "title" of the area and then it is the first line of the actual address. It is not a bug, but it is redundant at the moment.

Ah. I see.

So instead of the name it could say Primary Address, Address 2, etc. (A field that is editable by the customer maybe)

I guess I need to tweak some language or template files to hide it...

I am in usability mode, so I am cleaning up everything! :smile:

I wonder if you'll need 2.0 testers later... if you need a hyper picky tester to clean up hairsplitting text and usability bugs, let me know...
