Sends newsletters also to unsubscribed users?

When I send a newsletter also unsubscribed customers receive it. Where can I look for to solve this problem?

Or if you're using a version of Zen Cart you obtained someplace OTHER THAN from https://www.zen-cart.com, then you should be getting support from whoever ELSE you got your customized version of Zen Cart from.
