Can I use the MED images in categories??

Hi.

I noticed that the categories use the small thumbnail images by default. These are 100x100 and we need to use the _MED images.

How can we accomplish this? I have adjusted the category image width and height, but it seems it is still pulling the small pictures. IF I disable proportioal images, the category images show 250x250 but then they are pixelated, which indicates that the small images are just being resized.

EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out.... :)

on second thought, it's not working. i thought I can upload a bigger image but not so.

What I want is something that the products has. A small image, medium image, and large image (although I don't need the large).
In the category list, I want the small image to show, but when I go into a category, I want the medium image to show on the top part.

The products page works like this, now I want to do the same for the categories. If I just upload a bigger image for the categories, the thumbnails in the category list become blurry or pixelated.
