sold out text in dropdown menu -attribute stock module

Hi, please help me with this too..
I got the products with attribute stock module installed.
So, as in the screenshot, I've set the stocks for the 3 colors.
But the default display only attribute "Select Color" also thinks its one of the product. And since I have not set a stock level for it, zen cart thinks this attribute is out of stock.

How do I make this disappear? This attribute is only meant to guide customers to click the drop down menu..

you set "Select Color" as option value . you need to set this option value to Display Only . from Attributes Controller in admin .

I tried that. I set the attribute option to display only, still the zen cart thinks its a product..
