Urgent! Create Account not working.

Hi,

This is very urgent is anyone can help me please

I got an email from a customer a few minutes ago

I am trying to order online but there seems to be a problem with your
site... Once all personal details are entered and I click to move on, the
form goes blank for me to start again. It will not allow me to create an
account and therefore cannot make a purchase.

I have looked to see if I can find the problem but not getting anywhere.

If you create an account and click submit the page just refreshes an your left with a blank Create Account form.

This is a very busy time for me, so if someone could look at it as quick as possible I will send them something from the shop to say thanks.

Its not a blank page im getting.. altho I did have to sort that problem out a while back.

Whats happening is when you click submit to process the form the page just refreshes and you are left with a blank form again.

This only seems to be happening when creating a new account, if you already have an account you can enter login details and move on to the checkout process.

So ... when did it "break"?
ie: when were you last able to create a new account?
How does that compare with updates recently made on your site?
What version of Zen Cart are you using?
What addons do you have installed?
When did you install them?
Can checkouts complete if they log in?
Are the problems only on the storefront side? Any effect in the admin?
When did you last do a full backup of php files and database from your server?
What differences do you discover when you compare the files on your server with the files that were there when you were last able to create an account successfully?
What's different between your site and a clean brand new install of Zen Cart?

Wow, thats alot of questions. Ill try to answer them all.

It was working fine up and taking orders up until yesterday. So creating an account was able to be done yesterday.
Changes to the site I have made: new tpl_header.php file, re-structured the product_info.php file added EP, Bulk Attribute Creator. Made some changes in the stylesheet.css for colours, padding, margins and background images.

Checkout works fine if your logged in.

I am using the override system to the only changes to the original files is admin/attributes_controller.php that I can think of.

The install is 1.3.8a Patched.

There does not seen to be any effect in the admin that I can see.

Hope this helps to solve the problem.

I have looked through the files and cant find any obvious differences. But to be ver honest im not really sure what files I am supposed to be looking at.
I checked all the files in the templates folders. including my custom template, classic & template_default.

Could this problem be related to the database in any way do you think? Altho, I have not really gone near the database other than to install the SQL script for the Column Layout as far as I can remember.

EDIT: I added Ireland Zones to the database too.

Panic over.

I found the problem.. I have forgotten I had installed fast and easy checkout on a different template I have made proir to the one I have now. I had to delete all the files belonging to F & E checkout as they were interfearing somehow.

So problem now sorted......... as far as I can tell.
