Urgent Help Needed

My front page has gone funny! None of the images are showing up! http://the-ishop.com
Please help

This is because access to your images folder and to the folder with your CSS files in is being denied.

This is the link to your stylesheet which browsers need to be able to get to in order to style your page http://the-ishop.com/includes/templates/pure_green/css/stylesheet.css

Have you changed the permissions on any of your folders? If not, I'd talk to your webhost and see if they have made any changes to the security profile for the server.

what are the file permissions meant to be?

Depends on your server's security profile. But image files and stylesheets and the folders that they are in do need to be externally readable.

do you have a zen cart website? what are your settings set at! its driving me crazy, what ever i do nothing works!

ive changed all the file permissions to what you said and nothings happened!!! Im going mad! it doesnt work! is there anyway u can help me out on this?

Your web host is the person whose help you need. Only they know how your server is configured and can see directly why your site is forbidding external access to these file.

just for a test, download filezilla

ftp to your site
navigate through to inc/temp/<your temp>/

right click CSS
click file permissions
change to 777
then click apply to subfolders and files

then see if this works

if this does work, 1 by 1, change the CSS file permissions down a level..
if this doesn't work, change the permissions back to what they was and contact hosting

what do you mean change the CSS file permissions down a level?

I am going mad! Nothing i do changing the file permissions is doing nothing to the site. Has anyone had this problem before with there site not showing up or partly showing up??? what was your solution?

This is insane, i am losing out on making money when my site is like this!

Forgot this thread now, I am now going to do a fresh install! Thanks for everyones help

wht i meant was, instead of 777
drop it down, so....it loses 1 tier of permissions, to see when it stopped your site from working etc, but if putting it at 777 does not work then NOT A CLUE lol
