removal of side bars completely

I'm finding that the lack of a step by step 1 2 3 4 5 type of structure for the installation and configuration is giving me information over load. I need to do just a few last things.

remove the side boxes all together. (look and feel is KEY) and turn of the sample store items.

We are using Zen Cart as a replacement for MivaMerchant which is discontinued from our host. Site design and such is already done (8 years ago) and just want to add an easy total shopping experience

have a look. It's elegant and we DO NOT want any of the little features like, reviews, recommended etc etc. Bare bones list of products with images.

How can I do just that please?

Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings

Column Left Status - Global 0
Column Right Status - Global 0

As to switching from one eCommerce script to another, you have a big job ahead of you. Your Template will have to be recoded and all Client information within your current database will have to be manually inserted. All products / images / decsription, etc. will also have to be manually inserted.

There is the Commercial Section of the Forum where you post Jobs and deal with people who are familiar with Zen Cart and the coding required, if you feel you need some professional help.
