Product duplicated within order

Hey guys,

I have a mystery on my hands and I'm wondering if anyone can help. I can't for the life of me work out why this happened but it has.

A customer has ordered a fancy dress costume from one of our clients. Our client runs a 1.3.7 Zen Cart with SagePay form.

They ordered the costume with a size attribute and an additional extra attribute (gloves).

They put the order through SagePay form and everything went through just right, however on the admin area it says they ordered the same product again along with another seperate attribute which the customer didn't add at all.

On SagePay admin, the customer was charged for one product and the extra gloves, but in ZC admin they were charged for 2 products, 2 pairs of gloves and a petticoat.

I can't work out why this is. My only guess is that somehow an abandoned cart was mixed up with this one and both went through at the same time. Strange thing is I can't find any record of this product within the customers_baskets table.

They have nigh on 100 orders a day and nothing like this has happened before.

Urgent help needed please! :bigups:

Tom

Re: Product duplicated within order

Can you repeat the problem consistently? If not, you'll have to keep your eyes open and analyze details for comparison to establish details of a pattern if it happens again.

Re: Product duplicated within order

Thanks for the reply, Bytey.

I can't think how I'd duplicate the problem easily.

My only explanation could be that we b0rked the clients website up last month and lost some orders. We managed to recover all but one of them.

When we reloaded the orders, we changed the auto increment value for future orders so they wouldn't be mixed up again.

The client has had over 15,000 orders and this is the only one which has gone wrong.

I'll keep a careful eye on their stats.

Thanks,
Tom
