Easy Populate From osc vs. Easy Populate Free - from langer / modhole

I'm currently using "Easy Populate Free - from langer / modhole",

I'm not sure which one is better?

I was considering using Easy Populate From osc, this seems be more recent. Has anyone made the transition from "Easy Populate free" to Easy Populate From osc?

Version 1.2.5.4 from Langers Modhole site works fine with zencart 1.3.8

How do I get the easypopulate to work. I downloaded all the files to my PC but I am unable to find instructions on how to make it work. Where is the .csv file?
