Help to add new module?

I installed zen cart 1.3.8 on linux system.

Can any one give me instructions of adding a new module in Zen cart.

Please it would be very helpful for me to work with Zen.

Most of the mods contain instructions. What mod do you want to install?

A module how ever has it's own instructions of adding. The query to insert.

I have wrote a custom poll script. Which i want to integrate as a module into the Zen cart.

Could you just briefly give me instructions how i could make my own module integrated and implemented in Zen Cart.

I want to handle it from admin as well as from user site section.
