Can you check our domain real quick in your browser?

We purchased SSL for our site, and I was under the impression that any of the following were supposed to point to the homepage of our website.

http://www.eaglerockbooks.com
https://www.eaglerockbooks.com
http://eaglerockbooks.com
https://eaglerockbooks.com

For some reason it keeps throwing up security errors, of different sorts.

Would you mind checking it on your end to see if it does it? I clicked on 'allow' the last time, and that means I'm no longer seeing it... but it could still be there. Hoping the web hosting service took care of it.

The http listings are either the actual domain or are parkwed on it

The certificate is issued to "www.eaglerockbooks.com"
As such it will not work for any other domain....

Why would you or anyone for that matter be entering

https: //eaglerockbooks.com

As http: //eaglerockbooks.com resolves correctly to

http: //www.eaglerockbooks.com

I don't think anyone will be ever entering that domain, unless it's just for accuracy, and it looks like it already got resolved. You're right.

Our web hosting company said that they re-routed the SSL and it should be showing up correctly now.

Just to be on the safe side... if one more person could check it, I'd be very grateful. This SSL has been one headache after another. :smile:

The first 3 links all point to:

http://www.eaglerockbooks.com

The last one gives a "secure connection failed" message.

But if I go to "Log In" it brings me correctly to:

https://www.eaglerockbooks.com/index.php?main_page=login

So, I think you're ok.

As I explained - - It will always error because that is not the domain name that it is issued to.
When purchasing a cert one MUST either buy it for the base domain name OR the www variant
It will not secure either - - Only the EXACT one it was issued to
