Contact Us E-mail - not sending HTML

OK, i searched the forum for 2 days already.

I have a new website and i want my contact us e-mails received in HTML ( like i get them on my other zen shop ) However i keep gettign teh e-mails in text only.

I compared the files from both websites and i can't seem to find the error.

Please please please, can you help me.

additional info:

If i send an e-mail from teh admin control panel, the customer does receive an html e-mail.
It just sending the plain text e-mails when the customer is using the contact us form on the site.

That's normal. Contact-Us emails are written to send only in TEXT format. Not HTML. Regardless of settings.

When people use the "contact us" feature, it is for sending a message FROM*** them***, TO you.

To dress this communication up in HTML is a pointless waste of resources and bandwidth - all you need is the TEXT.

What would be the point of your own site sending a message to YOU, in HTML format?
