Discount on Quantity

Hello, I am building a site that is selling items where I need several discount options.

For examples I have 1 category that sells Customised Tablets (Chinese Herbal) there are over 300 types in this section - when I client orders 30 I want over a 5% discount, when the order 100 a 10% discount.

How can I do this? I have looked a mods etc but think I am confusing myself!!!

You do not need a mod :smile:

The feature exists in Zen Cart. Quantity discounts. Go to

admin>>catalog>>product price manager

select the product then go right down to the bottom of the page and click edit. then click 'add 5 blank discounts' then you can add up to 5 levels of discounts.

gets a bit boring for lots of products. swguy has written a mod that applies quantity discounts to products, categories or the whole shop. I have a discount copier out there that copies discounts (who'd of thunk it) from one product to another or to a whole category...

You need a mod. The native quantity discount feature only discounts a single product; you are discounting by totaling purchases across a category. If you use my Quantity Discounts contribution, it will do what you want.

I need something similar but I need it based on Discount Pricing Group.

I need help with Discount Pricing Group...

I have the groups set up but I also need to have volume discounts.

What I have is:

3 groups with different purchase levels

Group 1
Group 2
Group 3

Group three get the low wholesale whether they purchase 1 item or multiple items of the same.

Example:

Group 1 = 205
Group 2 = 195
Group 3 = 180

For a particular discount "group thee" for a single item or multiple items is 180, but I also need Quantity discounts to show or not show for group three as the example below is what shows and it group thee purchase two of the item they end up getting pricing on group two?'

Any ideas?

Below is what happens for group three with qty discounts showing.
Qty Discounts New Price
$180.00 1 ea
$195.00 2-4 ea
$180.00 5+ ea

This work fine for group 1 and group two... just doesn't work for group three.

Bump.. Any idea on the above?
