What is the Best lightbox to use ?

What is the best light box to use for zencart there is 3 of them in the downloads area. I want one that will not conflict with any other image mods I might have or want like I want to use Admin interface for Additional Product Images

Your choice depends on the effects/enhancements you are trying to achieve.

I favour IH2 because it does a lot more than just enable a "hover/zoom" function. It basically "rewrites" the images, cleaning and optimizing them in the process and creating "cached" copies which result in very fast loading of high-quality pics (the most critical element of any webshop).

Lately I've been looking at magictoolbox.com who've developed a variety of really nifty image tools. (I hope forum mods won't edit out this reference as they are commercial packages!)

I've "overlaid" a couple of their modules on a ZC install that already uses IH2, and I am getting the "best of both". Right now, I am still testing this (combination of magictoolbox and IH2) so I can't be sure if there are conflicts - but their modules are very sophisticated.

PS: I have no commercial interest in magictoolbox.com, nor do I endorse their products. I just find them to be really innovative and that add a new layer of sophistication to a ZC install.*

I'll say IH2 is gread mod (essential almost) but it is not a lightbox. I generally add Fual Slimbox mod for the eye-candy.

IH2 is brilliant. Nice clear images and the ability to drop watermarks across your larger pictures, put it as one of the must haves for Zen Cart. I just hope some kind soul will adapt it for use in version 2.0 when that is released. :unsure:

I thought the next version of Zen Cart would be using Jquery Lightbox? At least that is what the official Jquery support thread says:

None of us know with one hundred percent certainty, what the future version of Zen Cart will have (or not). It may well be that the 1.3 series will be around for quite some time yet?

The Jquery lightbox demo certainly looks like it has promise though.
