Template Selection Won't Change

I am just in the beginning stages of setting up my second store with Zen Cart - so I have some experience using it. I am trying to install a new template, just as I always have. The custom template shows up in the template selection drop down box, but when I click Update to change it, nothing happens. It stays Classic Green. I'm not getting any errors, just no changes. I installed the store on my local machine first, and the template was working there. But it won't seem to work online. Any ideas? Thanks!

Make certain all the folders associated with the template are on the server. It sounds like only the template_info.php file is there.

sounds like a bad FTP of one of the required files.

Check to make sure they're all there.

That's what I thought at first, but I've already re-FTP'd them all. And double-checked. They're there.

I uploaded a different custom template, just to test it. And that one won't take either.

I uninstalled and reinstalled zen cart and now it works. I have no ideas what the problem was, but I'm thankful I hadn't already gone through and adjusted all the settings and then had to do it over again. Thanks for your help anyway.
