Added Contest Add On, New Products stopped working

Hi there I wonder i anyone can help me, I have just added the contest add on to my zen cart, it all installed fine, but for some reason the new products for...has stopped working. Before hand it was showing my new products for the month. I cant work out why it has stopped working as the contest add on files are not overwrites. Does anyone have any ideas? :oops:

What do you have in your Admin settings?

Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > New Product Listing - Limited to ...

Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days

Hi its set to one, to show for a month and up to nine products. It was all working perfectly fine, until I installed the contests add on. It just seems to have totally stopped working as I created a dummy customer account and when I clicked see newest additions there were none, although I only added 9 new products 2 days before. I just cant work out what has happened, but am presently getting around it using featured products. Oh and I am very ashamed to say, I didnt back up before I did the add on, I am on dialup at present and was a bit too over confident. So cross with myself because I do know better!

Oh my god, I feel like a prize idiot LMAO, I get what you mean now, it says current month, not A month, so because its first of the month, they all vanished. What a total idiot I am. I changed it to 30 days and they are all back now. Feel free to laugh at me!

You think "you" feel dumb ... should of seen it the when I first added those date ranges to the code and last time I looked, before going to bed early one night, (never happens) I had all kinds of products displaying on each choice that I was testing ... then I woke up to none for the Current Month! :blink:

Thought I broke the dang code ... then, I noticed the date ... :lamo:
