admin access after Zen Cart Installation

I have installed XAMPP 1.7.2 and zen cart 1.3.8 on Windows XP successfully. But while accessing the admin url it's giving some deprecation error.
Please help.

What version of PHP is associated with XAMPP v1.7.2? Zen Cart does not run properly on PHP 5.3, so if you have that, you will need to convert to some 5.2.x version. This may mean reinstalling a different version of XAMPP - check their docs to find out.
