How to remove the space of breadcrumb totally?

I am using the current version of zen cart(v 1.3.8), I am using the theme Silverfish from the Zen Cart theme Gallery. The URL to my Zen Cart Installation is www.scooterrentalsorlando.com/index.php and I am trying to make It look similar to my original site at www.scooterrentalsorlando.com
I am halfway through the customization. I have removed the breadcrumbs but I am wondering how can I remove the space that has been alloted for the breadcrumbs so that the Image I have put below the header sticks with the header.

Anyway, have you tried admin>configuration>layout settings>Define Breadcrumb Status

2= Off for Home Page Only

Actually friends yeah I have already done that but see after disabling the breadcrumb there is a space left between the header and the rest of the body part. I want to remove that space.

find 'navBreadcrumb' in your stylesheet.css and change to:

#navBreadcrumb {
display: none;
}

This removes the space allocated to the breadcrumb navigation.

Are you referring to the white space underneath Home :: Login and the images?

.centerColumn has a padding of 0.8em on all sides. Add another line in that section:

padding-top: 0;

Also, there is a H1 with id=indexDefaultHeading that has a top & bottom margin set as 0.3em.

Add the following line in this section - #indexDefaultHeading:

margin-bottom: 0;

Both of those together removes the whitespace.

Just a note; there seems to be changes to the php file to achieve style-based changes. For example, additional tables and <font> references. I believe all the changes you have made so far could have been achieved by changing only the stylesheet.css. This makes future changes and updates much more straightforward.

padding-top: 0; in .CenterColumn Some of the whitespace of the breadcrumb got removed but I was not able to find any H1 with id= id=indexDefaultHeading in the whole CSS file. I am using Silverfish template

If it's not already in your stylesheet, you can add it.

#indexDefaultHeading {
display: none;
}

Normally, this is applied to the "Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution." text that most people quickly remove. :D

I have this EXACT situation, and am even using the exact template - Silverfish, but I got stuck in the same place - I can't get rid of the last line of whitespace at the top of the center area on a site I am building for a customer: www.PangeaImportsOnline.com

Can anyone help me out?
