help! how to adjust center column width?!

Hi, the center column on my front page doesn't seem to be going to 100%.

Here is an example:

http://www.rc-helicop.us/store

As you can see, there is a large white space on two side.I have tried forcing it to 100% within the stylesheet.css file:

#contentMainWrapper {
float:left;
line-height:1.6em;
margin-right:1%;
padding:0pt 2%;
text-align:left;
width:100%;

margin-top:3px;}

..to no avail. I've disabled all right columns in my site. I'm sure that I'm missing something simple or there is something overriding my settings. Please help.

i have also added width=100% at all sections under #contentMainWrapper but it doesn't work........

#headerWrapper, #contentMainWrapper, #logoWrapper, #cartBoxListWrapper, #ezPageBoxList, #cartBoxListWrapper ul, #ezPageBoxList ul, #mainWrapper, #popupAdditionalImage, #popupImage {
margin: 0em;
padding: 0em;
width:100%
}
#contentMainWrapper {
float:left;
line-height:1.6em;
margin-right:1%;
padding:0pt 2%;
text-align:left;
width:100%;

margin-top:3px;}

#navColumnOneWrapper, #navColumnTwoWrapper, #mainWrapper {
width:100%
margin: auto;

}

#tagline {
color:#000000;
font-size: 2em;
text-align : center;
vertical-align: middle;
width: 10px;
}

#sendSpendWrapper {
border: 1px solid #cacaca;
float: right;
margin: 0em 0em 1em 1em;
}

.floatingBox, #accountLinksWrapper, #sendSpendWrapper, #checkoutShipto, #checkoutBillto, #navEZPagesTOCWrapper {
margin: 0;
width:95%
}

.wrapperAttribsOptions {
margin: 0.3em 0em;
}

Your stylesheet looks like a Cold-War spy's cryptic message :D

Heavily customized templates are difficult and time-consuming to analyze. I spent 10 minutes in there, but haven't the time to work out what all those declarations apply to.

Re: help! how to adjust center column width?!

This looks like a Template Monster template. It can take days, even weeks to run down what the problem is.

BTW it isn't the Main Content wrapper, it appears to be the new TABLE for the Sidebox/Nav Column

try looking at your tpl_main_page.php in your template directory.

I think it's time to save the header.jpg and run a whole new cart under it.:shocking:

I don't think I've ever seen ANYTHING like this.:no:

I have. Its pretty standard for a Template Monster template. THey like to add all sorts of extraneous DIV tags and new tables that are completely unecessary if you understand CSS at all.

Unfortunately they are pretty much non-functional with the backside of Zencart. And they have this nifty bait-and-switch technique. They know its not functional. Customers pay $150-$200 for a Zencart template that doesn't work and when they contact customer service, they are directed to the Design Team and are told it will cost $2000 to $5000 to get it to work and no, they won't refund your money.

Re: help! how to adjust center column width?!

Maybe I should have added that I've seen a LOT of TM problems. TM may be owed an apology here.

Regardless of how screwed up TM can be, this makes TM look like an un-modded classic Zen template.:shocking:

See your other thread for more info. Posting two threads won't get you better help, it will only confuse and annoy those trying to help you.
