Products Disappearing yet still in showing in system

Products Disappearing yet still in showing in system

OK a friend of mine is having an issue in their store.
They are listing products and they arent showing in Zen in their category but it will say that there are products listed in it. But will show the products in the New products area

And suddenly it's now removing products from other categories but if you search for the time by name it will show it as listed and the folder for that category will show that there are products in it( number of items) but nothing when you go to it.

Anyone have any ideas? If this has been handled before then I am sorry I didn't see it.

Forgot to mention problems didnt start happening till host moved the site to a new server.
