Okay, so I doubled something by accident, I think

Or mucked something up...I was looking around to see where the image logos were for the language files where because I was curious about having more than one language show on my store. I have designers come from many countries and it would be helpful if I had the ability for them to be able to show their own language when they get there to shop.

Anyway, I have been showing this yellow band across the top of my admin home page ever since and can't find where to fix it.

Today, I added a new wrinkle to the mix, my new product page has doubled part of itself.

I put the debugger in to see where it was...no results. Tried in both sections. I've reload all the language files from a clean copy. Still have the issue.

Not sure what I am missing. My store was stable from the last set of mods.

Now this...

Okay run down:
Version: 1.3.8a Patch 1
Mods Installed:
TinyMice
Email Exporter
Paypal Verified Logo
Sales Report
Maximum Allowed in Cart
Better Together
Quantity Discounts

I have a template that is using the classic folder instead of it's own to avoid problems. I broke the site trying to use any other template folder.

See screenshots of what the problem is. The yellow showed up about 3 days ago. The doubled posting boxes in the New Product showed up today.

No issues with hosting, we use a VPS. I use winscp as my ftp

And I have searched for other threads but vb's search ability is not the best.

To have another one or more languages you must install a language pack for it

The first "yellow" bar states that you have not completed a new language install

The second "doubling" is a description box for each language

Well, the thing is, I never actually installed a second language pack...it apparently thinks I did tho.

So the best way to cure this is to go ahead and install one?

I do have a French designer who would love having the ability to do this in French and not English.

Okay, I fixed it and didn't have to add the French.

What I had done was go to Localization>Languages> and had looked at that the other day. I had pulled at the drop down but not added anything.

Well, when I did that, I screwed something up.

This morning, I deleted the empty field, being careful I was NOT deleting English. and all of a sudden, all was right with the world again.

But for the sake of anyone else who may do this, I am making sure to post my solution.
