Need .htaccess tips - I want to make URL redirects
I need to know how to redirect base category URLs
Problem:
If I redirect
Redirect /catalog/water-bowls-105/ http:[path to URL]
it will work for that
If I add
Redirect /catalog/water-bowls-105/portable-food-water-bowl-407.html http:[path to URL]
then all URLs in that path will crash (404 errors)
If I leave out the category URLs, all of the files work, but I am missing out on the Google/Bing indexed files which now return File Not Found errors [404]
I'm stumped!
