Need Assistance with Sunflower Orange Template

I installed ZenCart 1.3.8 last night. It was a new install. I am with inmotion hosting and I used their fantastico.

I used classicFTP to upload the files for Sunflower Orange.

I can see the files for the template in the directory. I can also see the files for the template default in the directory.

When I go to select the template via admin tools - neither the default or sunflower orange are there as options. I clicked search for updates and nothing happens.

I deleted the files and started over. I even deleted ZenCart and started over.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Re: Need Assistance with Sunflower Orange Template

I don't know how to delete. I apologize. I am going to repost this in the addon template forum. Sorry.

There are two folders inside that template's zip file, languages and templates. You should have uploaded them both to the 'includes' folder of your installation, despite what the read me file says.

Thank you Kim for the move. I apologize I am new. :)

Thank you Steve for the response.

I unzipped the zip file on my desktop and then uploaded both the language and the template folders. I did the language folder first and then the template folder using FTP. I can look and see both of the new sunflower folders there (in addition to the default template), but the only option I have when I go to the admin > tools> template is the classic.

Re: Need Assistance with Sunflower Orange Template

And you uploaded both folders to the **'includes' **folder of your site, and not the 'languages' and 'templates' folders?

Zencart looks in the template_info.php files (assuming they're in the right place) to populate the dropdown in admin.

Hello Steve,

From reading the instructions I thought I was supposed to upload the english folder into languages and the template folder into templates.

So to be correct I am supposed to just upload both folders into includes?

Ok, I will go back and try that again.

Re: Need Assistance with Sunflower Orange Template

Thank you Steve,

As I posted to Glenn, I am unable to get either of these working properly. Thank you for your assistance with this. I appreciate the response and feedback.
