I need to add some custom variables to pass to the shopping cart. After an item is added from product list, which file is being called?

includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_shoppping_cart_default.php

Copy the original file to YOUR TEMPLATE dir. before doing any customization.

The learning is in the doing.

thanks!!! (sorry for late reply, been busy with projects)...

anyway, how are the variables passed from one page to another in zencart? via cookies or sessions? or get?

please advice. I'm trying to send some variables over to shopping cart page but can't seem to get it there.
