Help: Banner manager changes & to &

Running 1.38a+security+FEC.

I've got an HTML banner that includes some ampersands (&) and I'm trying to get my pages to validate (which they don't because there are &'s in the HTML instead of &'s). So, I went back into Banner Manager, changed all the &'s to &'s, updated the banner, and viewed it again ... and all the &'s were (once again) &'s.

What's going on here? Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

2. the & is for the &
3. the ’ is for the single quotation

haredo, I'm probably 2-3 caffeine infusions away from what you were trying to tell me.

My previous (somewhat rambling) point was that for a page to validate, any & should be specified in the html as & ... but when I use & in an HTML banner specification within the Banner Manager, s/he changes them back to & prior to storing in the database -- resulting in a page that won't validate.
