search_header.php - Want it in header / remove from side column

I have turned on the search_header.php in the Layout Boxes controller, as I've specifically positioned the search box in the header to the location I want it. But I noticed that when I turn it on in the Layout Boxes controller, that the search box also shows up in the side column just above the Categories Side box.

I dont want it to appear there. What do I edit to remove this?

This is NOT the sideboxes/search.php which actually creates a search sidebox.

Turn on the switch Single column instead of Left/Right sidebox. That should fix the problem

ET: oops. that worked. I had the columns still turned on.
