Everything worked fine before hand... now the more I add items, when I go to ADD to cart or check out I get blank pages but when I go back, I have items in the cart and such. The Paypal button won't even work anymmore.
Have I done something wrong? Anyone ever encounter this?
Did you try it on other computers and with other browsers? Did you clear your browser cache? (Mozilla add-on).
Do you really refresh the page by using f5?
You can use the debug (software free addons) tool if PHP reports a syntax error in case you tweaked some php code. Check it out, it works great if you have some basic php knowledge. https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=82 (Utility in step 2)
Try to backup enough and try your site after every change. It takes some more time this way but it will eventually save your life...
You also can try the checkout and shopping card pages by temporarily oploading an original tpl / php file. If this works fine, try to trace the problems by merging / comparing the files. (multiview option with Notepad ++)
This way I figured out many many blank pages and errors under water.
