Help restoring product catelog

Help restoring product catelog

I am making a new website and zen cart, but it is going to offer the exact same products as my old website and zen cart.

Can I just find the file(s) that contain the product descriptions, ect. Or would that be too easy?

Look in your Zencart Database. Everything is in there.

Try 'Easy Populate'.

You can export all of your products to a spreadsheet then maybe import them into your new store.

There are many ways to "skin this cat", and the method you choose will depend on how much of the content in the "old" database, you will want in the "new" database.

There are a huge number of threads and posts on the forum (several by me) that describe the processes of copying / cloning zencart sites and data.

There are also tutorials that describe these procedures.
