Multiple shipping rates

Is it possible to create different shipping rates for different circumstances.

I have two types of products from two different suppliers and I drop ship.

The first supplier (Supplier A) has a billing system that works on the price of the goods sold. Weight and size do not play any part in the cost of shipping.

The second supplier (Supplier B)provides me with products that are dependant on weight and size but is relatively cheaper than the first supplier.

What I would like to do is offer two different rates. One rate is for goods supplied from Supplier A at $30.00 shipping, and goods from supplier B is at $11.00.

Further, if a client orders products that come from both suppliers, then the shipping rate would need to to be the higher amount.

Is this possible?

If so, how would it be done?
