Blank home page after site is working for some time

Hello,

I am having strange problem, which I can not fix. Or, rather, I can fix it temporarily by uploading a full backup of my store, and then the store shows normally, but something happens after and it dissapears again (it starts showing blank page).

Before this started happening (now third time in couple of weeks, store worked perfectly for a year or so, and blank page started appearing out of nowhere, when nothing has been changed...

My store is on https://www.hudemajice.si, and here is what "blank page debugging tool" returns:

Well the error message states your problem clearly: No such file or directory in /home2/videoto1/public_html/HudeMajice/includes/init_includes/init_general_funcs.php

Now, how the files was removed or the permissions changed so that it is not accessible for the webserver it unknown. You should find out why this happend. Often it has sth do do with human intervention.

Do you have any Add Ons installed that may have customised the init_general_funcs.php file?

Have a quick look at the file in your editor and double check that the ?> is the very last thing in the file. In other words, delete any spaces or blank lines after the last ?>.

Let me know how you get on with this and if it solves the problem.

Thanks for reply. I have checked for the file which is mentioned, it exists there and has right attributes.

I have also checked, there is no more code after closing, as you have suggested.

I then went to look for includes/functions/functions_general.php, which was mentioned as well, and I noticed there were number of files missing from that folder. I have uploaded them from backup and it now works perfectly.

Any idea why these files go missing and how can I protect this from happening? There should not be anyone with access to this server except me, so is it possible this is caused by some security issue for the software?

Usually files do not go missing. They are delted by someone with access to them. Usually it is only your and your webhost. Ask them, if they have cleaned up some of your files. I know some host have a file number limit. But they dont just delete files, they send you and email and block your account if you exceed the number.

Any cron script that is deleting files?

Yes, this is strange I know.

I have now changed password just in case. Cron job - dont know about this, have not set any.

Hopefully there wont be more problems, I will check with host for log of changes if it happens again.
