Is there a way to set up a "product" where a client can specify an amount they wish to pay?

It wouldn't be for auctions, but more like Paypal's "send money" feature.

Builds in as default, what most people would be prepared to pay (when given the choice :D )

$0.00 x 2 = $0.00
$0.00 x 10 = $0.00
$0.00 x 100 = $0.00

You would need to make the Product $1.00 to make this work ...

If you want to offer it for free or pay what you want set the price to 0.00 and add Attributes where you have:
Option Name:
Pay what you want:

Option Value:
What would you like to pay?
Display Only YES
Default YES
Sort Order 0

Free
Price: 0.00
Sort Order: 10

Enter a Price
Price: 1.00
Sort Order: 20

Then, you can customize the Template and on this Product you can have it read:
I want to Pay

vs

Add to Cart

Now it can have any value from 0.00 to a bazillion ...
