Categories - Remove Product description

After selecting a Category, and then viewing all the products on that page... is there a way to remove just the description from under each product, and only have the description displayed on the product page?

I have posted a picture of what im talking about for reference.

admin >> configuration >> product listing >> display product description

set to 0
