New products since last visit

Is there a way a returning customer can see a list of new products that have been added since their last visit?

You could write a comparison based on the customers last login and the product date added to see what products got added in reference to the customers last login ...

While this is not built into Zen Cart at this time, the needed data is available to write a custom module like this ...

It seems like this would be a very good feature to help customers see new products without having to browse the whole catalog.
I do not have the knowledge to write the code but I sure would like to have the mod.
