SIM: Your script timed out while we were trying to post transaction results to it.

Zen 1.3.8a

I got this error twice out of 3 orders received today from Authorize.net (SIM):

Authorize.Net Merchant,

Your script timed out while we were trying to post transaction results to it.

I got no order conformation from Zen.

What script error? Where?

Sounds like Authorize.net is having trouble confirming that your customer is being properly returned back to your website.
ie: when their page sends the customer back to your site, they wait to get a response from your server ... but they're not getting it.

So, either your website is very slow, or an error is occurring.

Maybe you need to do a checkout for yourself to determine what's going on. Or ask your customers.

Or, better yet, use the AIM module instead ... which doesn't have to rely on that whole process that SIM is having problems with.

Silly question.

Can you have both SIM and AIM?

I checked the reference and my version stats. Is tells me CURL is enabled. Anything else I need to do? I don't need to crash the site hitting the wrong button:lamo:

Re: SIM: Your script timed out while we were trying to post transaction results to it.

It would be pointless to use both SIM and AIM at the same time. Customers get confused when they have too many choices and don't clearly understand the differences. And, since SIM and AIM both accomplish the same end result as far as the customer is concerned, enabling both on your site would be foolish.

As for "anything else" ... the FAQ covers the details. What "else" were you looking for?
