manufactures description

i would like to be able to have a description about the manufactures above the list of items, in the same way you would have a category description above the category listings
so when a customer selects a manufacture they can read about them and see the products by them listed below
thanks

Look into Zen Cart Archive. There is a mod for older version of Zen Cart that will still work on latest Zen Cart. You might need some minor editing for the code to display it where ever you want.

I am using it on my website.

Hi thanks I've had a look have you any idea what the name of it is.
What site are you using it on

hi that mod isn't really what i would like to do
the alternative is when you select a manufacture from the drop down box it then takes you to a list of products by that manufacture is it possible to have the manufactures name at the top of the list hyperlinked to an easy page via the manufacture url link or put a more info link next to the name

thanks
